JO Ref/Scorekeep/libero Resources

As part of a JO program, teams are required to conduct referring, line judging, scorekeeping, and libero tracking at tournaments. Here are some helpful resources to get your player familiar with those rules.

Pequot Lakes JO Fees

Pequot Lakes JO Volleyball usually costs between $150-400 per player, depending on age level. Scholarships can be requested and payment plans can be made. Reach out to Katrina for more information about scholarships. 

Who is eligible for assessments:

Pequot Lakes JO Volleyball program is for Pequot Lakes Athletes that are or intend to play in the Pequot Lakes school volleyball program. Unlike other JO programs, this is not open to students from other districts. 

PAC Defines eligibility as:

Player Eligibility / Participation Participation in the PAC Sports program is open to all 3rd - 9th grade students enrolled in ISD 186; residing within the attendance boundaries of ISD 186; or homeschooled while residing within the boundaries of ISD 186. A student who is a member of a school team may not participate as an individual competitor or as a member of non-school team in the same sport during the school season. About Pequot Lakes JO Program

Pequot Lakes JO Volleyball Mission:

To provide an opportunity for athletes in the Pequot Lakes Volleyball program to grow in their volleyball skills, gain volleyball knowledge, and learn to use strategy while playing volleyball. We also strive to provide a fun and safe experience for all student-athletes. 

Team Expectations:

17u: This will be our most competitive volleyball team. This team will have a goal to attend 6-8 tournaments, with a season approximately 3 months long. They will practice 1-2 times per week at the coaches’ discretion and availability. Playtime will not be equal but will be meaningful.

 

16u: We will have one team at this level. The goal for this team would be to attend 6 tournaments, with a season approximately 3 months long. Practices will be 1-2 days a week at the coaches’ discretion and availability. Playtime will not be equal but will be meaningful.

 

14u: This level players will be placed on teams as long as we have coaches for that team. The goal would be to attend 5-6 tournaments throughout a 3 month season. Practice will be 1 day a week. Playtime will be meaningful. 

 

12u: This level of players will be placed on teams as long as we have coaches for that team. The goal would be to attend 4-5  tournaments throughout a 3 month season. Practice will be 1 day a week. Playtime will be equal.
